1. Here we are with the July 2017 report whilst the great 2017 eclipse! Read to the end for special offers…
2. The US market continues its rally at the first half of July making another all-time high. However, it ran out of the power at the second half and stalled there for a while. This gave us a good opportunity to make a better yield from our sideway strategy in this month. In fact, our patience paid off – July had the largest monthly net profit made inside the fund since January 2017. The sun is shining again!
3. While Derivatix made 2.7% net profit for its investors in July, S&P500 was up only 2% and Dow Jones grew 2.6% in this month. The only index in our study that made more gain than Derivatix in July was NASDAQ with 4.1% growth. It is worth to note that NASDAQ has been much more volatile than other indices lately. Although it has the largest gain among others in July, it also experienced the biggest drop in June so you need to be cautious if investing on any of NASDAQ components such as Apple, Amazon and Netflix which made all time high in July and have been dropping ever since.
