Maziyar Yousefizad is a fund manager and founder of Derivatix Capital Management, a private hedge fund management corporation registered in the US. With an extensive background in risk management and trading financial derivatives, Maziyar has established himself as a leading figure in the investment industry, leveraging derivatives to drive exceptional returns.
Prior to founding Derivatix Capital Management in 2015, Maziyar worked as a senior risk analyst at major Canadian banks, including TD and CIBC, where he moderated large market and credit risk projects. He brings +19 years of experience in trading financial derivatives, specifically US equities and index options, and has developed innovative trading models on these asset classes.
Maziyar holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (System Analysis) and an MBA from Sharif University of Technology. He pursued a PhD program in Information Systems at DeGroote School of Management, McMaster University.
